this is an extremely faded mixture of diluted punky colour flamingo pink and sfx atomic pink. the bottom layer has been bleached once, soon to be bleached again.

later this week i plan on redoing the top layer with full on sfx atomic pink, and the bottom layer with punky colour lagoon blue. i was inspired by [info]chelliem. :) so i should be posting another picture post not too far from now. :P

I've been lurking here for forever, but never posted. I had pink streaks in my hair before, but never my whole head.

Soooo, after 3 days of trying to get my hair as blonde and even as possible, my hair is finally pink :D

I looked for sulfate free shampoo (at a salon) but of course they didn't have any. I settled for "Salon LA COUPE" Colour Rescue shampoo and conditioner. They said it has sulfate but "not the colour stripping kind".

Anyway I'm confused because the shampoo made the colours run when I washed my hair - after 19 washes! My regular cheap 'herbal essences' shampoo stopped making the colours run at least 10 washes ago. The thing is, my hair looks a lot nicer and it seems like it's helping it fade nicer/more evenly. When I look in the mirror, the pink seems more vibrant but the blue seems less vibrant.

I'm redying my hair soon and don't know if it'll be safe to use right after dying? Or will it negetively effect the vibrancy if I use it right away? My hair didn't show any orange tones until 15 washes, I don't know if I should go with my regular shampoo until then to be safe. There's a good possibility the only reason it's less vibrant is because it's after another wash (19 washes later) - but I'm confused about the colours running. I don't know if it'll actually improve it or just make it fade quicker.

Also, could someone recommend a good sulphate free shampoo that's easily accesible? I live in Canada if that helps.

Thank you!

I just dyed my hair a few days ago. I used a mix of hot pink and bright purple dyes over a bleached blond base.
BRIGHT color goodness )

Ok.
Parts of my hair has faded and in some places orangy/blonde.
I'm just woundering what i should do?
I want to bleach my roots too.

So do i bleach my roots and then dye my full head again.
Or should i wait until it all fades properly?
